MopTop Return Policy

 

We stand behind every product we make, and we want you to love your natural curls. If something misses the mark, we’re here to help. Product application is critical to good results! Please review the policy below before completing your purchase.


Retail-Size Returns (2–12 oz)

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery (ship date applies for online orders).

To be eligible:

  • Only one opened item per order may be considered for return

  • Opened item must be lightly used (no more than 1–2 uses) and returned in good condition

  • All additional items must be unopened, unused, and in resalable condition


Refunds & Store Credit

  • Opened items: Eligible for store credit only, issued after inspection

  • Unopened items: Eligible for a refund to original form of payment

All approved returns are subject to:

  • A 15% handling fee
  • Deduction of original outbound shipping costs
  • Make sure to use packing material to ensure safe shipping in returns

Store credit:

  • Issued via email once return is processed

  • Valid for 90 days from issue date 

Bundles & Large Sizes (16 oz + 32 oz)

  • Opened bundles or large sizes are not eligible for return

  • Bundles may only be returned if all items are unopened and in resalable condition

  • Refunds follow the same deductions: 15% handling fee + original shipping


Shipping Costs

  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable

  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer

  • Original shipping costs will be deducted from any refund

Include your order information and package items securely (please tape caps to prevent leaking).

  • Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of delivery

  • Items are inspected upon arrival

  • MopTop reserves the right to deny any return that does not meet these conditions

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we’ll make it right.

Please email us within 5 days of delivery with photos of:

  • The product(s) (front label visible)

  • The shipping box (inside and outside)

A Quick Note About Mongongo Oil

Because Mongongo Oil is packaged with a pressure seal to prevent leaks, the seal may shift during transit. This does not affect product quality or safety.
