It depends on your oil production and activity level, as well the impact that other products have on the condition of your hair. If you find that your hair is starting to look oily while using a co-wash, then you should use a shampoo to reduce the oil build up in your hair. If you find that your hair is drying out from using a shampoo, try co-washing for a bit to reduce how much oil is removed from your hair.

The shampoo from our salon-grade line has a lavender mint scent. It is rich, emollient, and highly concentrated for that fresh-from-the-salon look and feel. It has hydrolyzed wheat and soy protein which can be important for some hair types. The gentle shampoo from the natural line has a bamboo scent and is a great daily shampoo that is also silicone-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free and dye-free. It can be used with Keratin treated hair. Both shampoos are sulfate free.

The co-wash shampoo does not lather at all, the Gentle Shampoo and Salon Shampoo have a moderate amount of lather, you may find that the Salon Shampoo has more of a lather. The Detox Shampoo has the most amount of lather as it is designed to remove build up from the hair and scalp.

Yes, we have formulated the detox shampoo with sodium phytate which has great chelating action. The Detox Shampoo is great for swimmers because it can remove chlorine build up.
